Is Simon lining up Estelle for The X Factor?

Simon Cowell could be bringing in Estelle for the new series of The X Factor, according to reports.

The R&B singer would replace Kelly Rowland, who wants to focus on her career in the US, The Sun said.

A source said of the American Boy singer: "Estelle's name is very high on his list now and serious enquiries have been made as for her availability for auditions in May."

Former judges Gary Barlow, who is set to become a father for the fourth time, and Tulisa Contostavlos, who won last year's series with Little Mix, have been offered pay rises to return to the ITV1 show, along with Louis Walsh.

British singer Estelle rose to fame in 2008 with American Boy, her collaboration with rapper Kanye West.

Last year's X Factor suffered in the ratings battle with Strictly Come Dancing.
