DOI contestants banned from risky moves
18/02/2012 - 11:29

The nine remaining contestants in Dancing On Ice 2012 have been ordered to tone down their risky lifts and moves after Jennifer Ellison suffered a leg injury in rehearsals.
The actress needed stitches after she fell during skating practice on Friday, slicing her leg on the blade of a skate - just days after she hit herself on the head with a skate during her routine on last Sunday's show.
"She had to stop rehearsals immediately and rush off for stitches because the bleeding was quite heavy," a show source told the Mirror.
As a result of her injury the other contestants have been warned against trying anything too daring - meaning that Heidi Range's planned 'side lift' and Jorgie Porter's attempt at a 'head-banger' move may not make it to their final routines.
Jennifer has also admitted that last Sunday's accident dealt a blow to her confidence - and she fears it could affect her performance on this weekend's show.
"Naturally it hit her confidence at the start of the week but the worry is it's still a big problem now," an insider said.
"She just can't seem to get the moves right and is really worried that she will be going home after this Sunday's show."
Sunday will see the celebrities face a double eviction, with the bottom three having to perform solo in the skate-off in a bid to remain in the competition.
